Trekker portable water purification system survive in the boonies

This portable water purification system is often used in remote areas where access to clean water is unavailable. It offers a four-stage purification process that includes three types of filters and a uv light, resulting in 99.99% disinfection. We used it for one year on an isolated farm where agricultural water was the only source. We no longer live there.

All filters and parts are available from noah water systems. We found them to be very prompt and easy to work with. The motor has been tested recently and works fine. The unit includes the hard outer case. The following description is from noah water systems’ web site. A portable water purification system capable of producing 1 gallon/3.8 liters per minute of safe drinking water from fresh water sources: wells, lakes, ponds, rivers or floodwaters. The unit is powered with 12-volt dc current that can be supplied from any source: auto, truck, generator, airplane, boat, etc. Making the trekkert an ideal choice in remote areas where electrical service is either impractical or unavailable. Disinfection > 99.99% kill rate. Weight: 26.5 lbs / 12 kg.

12 volt dc power supply. See more details at noah water systems’ web site, noahwater dot com.
