Flint and Steel Kit
This flint and steel is handmade. The material is a high carbon steel, cut, hammered, hardened, tempered, and ground to yield an impressive shower of sparks. The kit includes a metal box, char cloth. One high quality or two flint shards. (sometimes three) the steel, and detailed instructions. The instructions cover the use of the steel, how to prepare a fire, how to make char cloth, and the maintenance of flint. This is a good steel (striker) and kit! In an effort to give the customer a product more to their liking, i would like to add the choice of preferred size to the order. Just measure the width of your hand where you would be holding the striker. The sizes are: 3″ to 3 1/4″ size a. 3 1/4″+ to 3 1/2″ size b. 3 1/2″+ to 3 3/4″ size c, and 3 3/4+ is size d. State your size preference in a message to me. If no size is noted, we will select one for you. This is a handmade item and may vary slightly from one to the next. We appreciate your business!
